William C. Paull William C. Paull on July 11, 2019. Husband of Patricia Robinson. Brother of Sr. Evelyn Theresa Paull I.H.M., Kevin (Edith Jones), and the late George S. Jr (Janet). Uncle of Cristine, Maureen, George Brendan, and Joseph. Bill (Will, to his family) was born in Philadelphia’s Mt. Airy section on April 8, 1947, the third of four children of Catherine and George S. Paull. Bill attended Holy Cross School followed by Cardinal Dougherty High School. After a short stint as a machinist for General Electric, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam in 1969. Upon discharge from the Army, he followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the Philadelphia Fire Department in 1974. Upon retirement from the Fire Department in 2008, he worked for Allied Barton Security Services at Chestnut Hill College. He met the love of his life, Pat Robinson, 45 years ago, when she was an elementary school teacher in the Philadelphia School District; among their many activities together, they crisscrossed the country several times in Bill’s van, visiting many historic American sites and National Parks. They lived in Roxborough and Andorra, moving to Flourtown in 2008. Bill was an avid golfer, walker and bicyclist. He especially enjoyed walking the streets of Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill, riding his bicycle on the Schuylkill and Wissahickon Trails, and golfing anywhere. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wed. 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10AM at Holy Cross Church, 148 E. Mt Airy Ave., Phila., PA. 19119. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem.
