Wayne L. Seiferth (Dutch) of Flourtown, PA passed away on March 2nd surrounded by his family at his bedside. Dutch grew up in Lafayette Hill where he played baseball, basketball, and football for Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. Until his passing, he was in constant contact with his former classmates from the class of 1967. He was a graduate of Bloomsburg University and was in the Army Reserves. Dutch worked in telecommunications most of his life until his retirement. His favorite activity in life was coaching his children. He coached soccer, basketball, and baseball in Upper Dublin Township and also coached CYO basketball at St. Genevieve’s School in Flourtown. Dutch was an avid Phillies fan and Dutch loved the beach in Sea Isle City, where he spent his summer vacations with his family and extended family. He so adored his children, Allyson Proietto (Anthony), Eric (Alison), his wife, Joyce (Giovinazzo), and his four grandchildren, Lucy, Maggie, Santino and Lorenzo who lovingly called him Pop. Dutch is also survived by many devoted nieces, nephews, and friends. Dutch was the son of Marsden and Alberta Seiferth and the brother of Marsden, who all preceded him in death. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewings at St. Genevieve Church 1225 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031 Sunday from 7-9PM and again on Monday from 9-10AM. Funeral Mass will follow Monday at 10AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
