Theresa C. Bell

Theresa C. Bell (nee Dougherty) slipped away peacefully in her home on July 4th, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family who witnessed the beautiful release of her soul unto the Lord. Theresa was preceded in death by her loving, adoring husband Richard J. Bell. They began their journey of life together at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Airy where they were married in 1950. Richard and Theresa moved to Flourtown in 1954 and became ingrained in the community and St. Genevieve's Church. She is preceded in death by her son Thomas G. Bell (Patsy) and two Grandchildren (Christopher C. & Carolyn A. Bell). Theresa is survived by nine of her ten children: Richard W. & Kristina Bell, Paul J.& Kim Bell, Mary Clare & Frank Mastrangelo, Theresa & Joseph Froshour, Christopher E. & Betsey Bell, Gregory J. & Rev. Dr. Anita M. Bell, Patrick J. Bell, Monica & Michael Hickey, Steven M. & Barbara Bell. Also, surviving are her two sisters, Eileen Grahl and Sally Boles. Theresa will be sorely missed by her 30 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren who all loved her dearly. Theresa will be missed by her many friends with whom she shared travels, bowling, tennis and many bridge games. Her capacity to love was large and effortless. Her words: I had a wonderful life! Arrangements are private due to the current conditions of Covid. A memorial service will be planned at a later date so family and friends can celebrate together which is exactly what she would have wanted.
