Robert “Bobby” Farrell, a loving father, husband, son, brother cousin, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love.
At a young age, Bobby developed a deep love for sports, especially hockey, which he began playing at the tender age of six. Hockey quickly became his life, and he excelled in the sport, playing for Winter Sport and the Little Flyers. His passion for hockey continued to flourish while he attended LaSalle College High School, where he was a dedicated member of the varsity ice hockey team for four years, sharing two of those years with his older brother, Mike. During his time at LaSalle, his team achieved remarkable success, winning two Flyers Cup tournaments and one state championship.
In 2007, Bobby's life took a beautiful turn when he met Katie, and hockey took a secondary role to his newfound love. He embraced the role of father with great pride, and his children, Aubri, Alabama, Aria, and Christopher, became his pride and joy. Bobby cherished every moment spent with them, supporting them in all their endeavors and always having a smile on his face because of them.
Bobby was not only a devoted husband and father but also a wonderful son and brother. His presence and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Katie, and their four children, Aubri, Alabama, Aria, and Christopher; his mother, MaryBeth, and stepfather, Joe; his brother, Mike (Katie), stepbrothers Joe (Candy) and Stephen; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Marie Brady; and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Florence Farrell.
Bobby's life ended short, but we will never forget him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy of love, passion, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew him.
