Richard C. Hontz

Richard Carl Hontz, of North Wales, son of the late Russell and Irma, with his sons by his side, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on September 22, 2022. He was reunited with the love of his life and late wife Lorraine Hontz (June 24, 2014). He is survived by his devoted loving sons, William (Diane) and Rick (Chelsea) and his cherished grandchildren Alison, Kyle, Dylan, Chase, Logan, Bree and Brady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his sister Kay Magyar. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army upon graduating from Rayen High School in 1956 (Youngstown, OH). He was deployed to Korea during his service and recognized with a sharpshooter commendation and good conduct medal. A celebration of his life will be held later in November. Richard and Lorraine’s remains will be buried at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery as he will be honored for his military service.
