Rev. Jason V. Kulczynski

Reverend Jason V. Kulcznski, Pastor, Holy Martyrs Parish, Oreland, died suddenly on Saturday, January 27, 2024.  He was 62 years old.

Father Kulczynski was born in Brooklyn, New York.  He is the son of Joseph and the late Wanda (Danielski) Kulczynski.  He is also survived by Karen (David) Trickett and David Jason and Grey Trickett and other family members and friends.

Father Kulczynski attended Central Bucks High School West, Doylestown graduting in 1979.  In June 1981, he entered the Pauline Fathers at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, and began studies for the priesthood at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook.  The following year, Father Kulczynski continued his studies for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Father Kulczynski was ordained on May 20, 1989, at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia by His Eminence, Anthony Cardinal Bevilaqua.  Father Kulczynski served as Parochial Vicar of Saint Bede the Venerable Parish, Holland; Saint Aloysius Parish, Pottstown and Saint Laurence Parish, Upper Darby.  In 2000 Father began to serve in the high school apostolate on the faculty of Archbishop Prendergast High School for Girls, School Minister of Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast High School and School Minister of Saints John Neumann - Maria Goretti High School, until 2012.  Father Kulczynski was appointed Parochial Vicar of Maternity B.V.M. Parish, Philadelphia in 2012.   In 2015 he was appointed Pastor, of his beloved Holy Martyrs Parish, Oreland, where he was loved by all who knew him.

Father Kulczynski served as the National Director for the Universal Archconfraternity of Saint Philomena since October 2011.  And hosted the weekly broadcast of AIM HIGH on Radio Maria.

        The Reception of the Body will be held at Holy Martyrs Church, 120 Allison Road, Oreland, on February 5, 2024, at 8:30 AM., followed by a viewing from 9:00 A.M. to 11 A.M. a Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M.
