Raymond Potter

Raymond Potter passed away peacefully at his residence in Oreland surrounded by his family. He was born in Philadelphia to Frank and Joan Potter. He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Rosemarie (nee Vecchione). He was the loving father of Jason (Kelly), Kelly (Derek), Brad (Suzanne) and stepfather to Bill (Kelley) Ruch. He was the cherished Pop pop to 11 grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Joan Nasi. 

He attended Cardinal Dougherty High School. After graduation he proudly served his country in the Air Force. In February 1970 he was hired by the Springfield Township Police Department as a Police Officer. He retired in February 2018 after 48 years of dedicated service. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11AM-1PM at the John F. Murray Funeral Home 1220 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031.  Services will be held privately.
