Patricia Snedeker Connor

d. February 24, 2021

On February 24, 2021, Patricia Snedeker Connor gained her angel wings after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 45 years, Thomas P. Connor Jr., daughter Rebecca (Joseph) Capobianco, beloved grandchildren Ava and Max, and a wonderfully large, loving extended family. Born March 18th, 1942 to Catharine and Frank Snedeker, Patricia was the oldest of 4 daughters. She was raised on Stevens Street in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School. She earned her Bachelors degree from Immaculata University and her Masters in Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania. Patricia spent her career helping others, first as a teacher and preschool caregiver, and later as a social worker and clinical therapist. Listening to people was truly her special gift and she made you feel as if you were the only person in the room. She had a way of making people feel accepted, loved and heard. Patricia was compassionate, nurturing, kind, loving and supportive. These traits made her an amazing wife, mother, sister, friend, aunt and "Gigi". She was always so filled with life. Her beaming smile could light up even the darkest room. She enjoyed being silly, dancing, listening to music, swimming, traveling, shopping and reading. Her favorite place was the beach and she loved watching each and every sunset. We will forever miss her loving heart, bright smile, vibrant personality and welcoming spirit. A celebration of life will be held when we can all safely gather together. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Alzheimers Association. www.alz.org
