Mary Berman

Mary Vesey Berman, of Ft. Washington, PA formerly of Barroe, County Mayo, Ireland, passed peacefully in her sleep on August 13, 2018.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years Richard, her daughter Barbara, sisters Josephine and Teresa, brother-in-law Jim Ruland, nephew Sean Durkin & family, and her several cousins and friends.  Mary retired as an R.N. after working for 40 years.  She was an active member of the Mayo Association and also volunteered for the Stars Reading Program at a local school.A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30AM at Holy Martyrs Church 120 Allison Rd Oreland, PA 19075.  Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:30-10:30AM at the church.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association 399 Market St. #102 Phila, PA 19106 or to the Mayo Society 6815 Emlen St. Phila, PA 19119.
