Margaret C. McEntee

Margaret Catherine MULLIN McEntee, (Peggy), born in Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on 9/27/2022 at age 86. Predeceased by her parents William Mullin and Mary Ann SMITH Mullin; her sisters Elizabeth and Mary; her son Walter Paul, III and grandson Kevin. Survived by her children John McEntee (Annie O’Bryan), Michael McEntee (Katiusca), Joanne McEntee Miller, Richard Anthony McEntee, Joseph Patrick McEntee, and Marie Theresa McEntee; her grandchildren Anne (James Riley), Erin (Brent Matzelle), Colleen (Brian Lytz), Kela, Julie (Kevin Paschall), Ellen, Gwen (Alex Kaplan), Sean, and Melissa; and her ten great-grandchildren Owen, Cormac, Nora, Declan, Tess, Lena, Emmett, Cora, Kyra, and Daniel. Peggy McEntee mother/wife/grand- and great-grandmother – her family was her life. Her other favorite activities included bridge club and the Ladies Guild at Christ the King Church in Miami. In the 1980s and later, in the Philadelphia area: Legion of Mary, Eucharistic Ministry, Adoration Chapel at St. Dominic's, and Our Lady’s Missionaries of the Eucharist. Mom retired from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia after working at St. Dominic's rectory for 10 or so years. She was active for many years in Pro Life ministries - Guiding Star, Our Lady's House, Mary's Nest; and in the spiritual studies book group at St. Joseph's Church, Ambler until 2020. She traveled to many of the eastern and western European pilgrimage sites and shrines: Fatima, Portugal; Lourdes, France; Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina; the Holy Land (Jerusalem/Israel); she swam in the Dead Sea, visited Mexico City, Mexico; Vatican City, Italy; also Canada. Avid Scrabble player and loyal Phillies fan. Viewing will be held Thursday 10/6/2022 from 9-10AM at St. Genevieve Church, Flourtown, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10AM. Interment Monday 10/10/2022 at 11AM, Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA. (Please meet at the cemetery office at 10:45AM)
