Kevin P. McNally

Kevin P. McNally, 64, of Oreland, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 2, 2022. Born in Chestnut Hill, PA in 1958, Kevin was the son of the late George McNally and Anne McNally (Barry). Kevin was predeceased by his brother George. He was the beloved husband for 38 years of Jane McNally (Bigelow). Loving father of Patrick McNally and Bob McNally. Caring brother of Marianne Mesure. Kevin loved his wife, his family and his life. He was a kind man and the life of every party, who could always be relied on for a laugh and a smile. His family was extremely important to him. He was part of the class of 1976 at Cardinal Dougherty High School and was a proud member of the Dougherty Band. He graduated from La Salle University in 1980 and obtained his Master of Business Administration at Temple University. Kevin then pursued a successful career in IT/Finance in insurance. Kevin enjoyed spending summers at the Jersey Shore, which is where he met his wife, Jane, in 1981. They quickly became an inseparable pair. Kevin and Jane married on May 5, 1984 in Philadelphia and built a life in Oreland, PA. After the arrival of his two sons, Kevin volunteered as a little league coach and CYO basketball coach. As their sons grew, Kevin and Jane decided to purchase their home in Sea Isle City, NJ to enjoy summers at the shore. Kevin loved meeting his family there for weekends all summer long, playing in the waves, sipping a cold beer on the beach, and making the “Drive at Five” to get back to his office in Philadelphia on Monday mornings. In retirement, Kevin picked up pickleball and spent most mornings on the court with his friends in either Sea Isle City or Cheltenham. He was especially grateful to develop relationships with his sons’ significant others, Genevieve Weikert and Liz Bravacos. Kevin battled health issues over the past year but met every challenge with strength. His family could not be more proud of his fight. He leaves behind a large, loving extended family. His wife Jane was the love of his life. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitations Monday November 7, 2022 from 6-8PM and again Tuesday November 8, 2022 from 9-10AM at St. Genevieve Church 1225 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10AM. Interment will be private.
