Dr. Joseph W Norpel, Jr. May 2, 1961 - December 22, 2020 Alas! Liebchens! Our favorite crack dealer has completed his long and winding road. Our Joe was a Beatles-loving wisecracker—a big-brained wit who could leave you equally uplifted and in doubt whether he was kidding. Doctor Joe was also a crackerjack back cracker—a most excellent chiropractor—and a proponent of Bioresonance and Neuroacoustics. Joe was singular and exact in his ability to fix, improve, create, invent, and build almost anything. He was so proud of his Lauren and Johann, who have well-inherited his talents! Joe helped innumerable others through his membership in the secret society; the rest of us benefited from his Genius School sessions and strong Faith. A graduate of Saint Genevieve’s, La Salle College High School, and Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic, Joe cracked us up to the end—and we are all a bit more wisenheimer for having known him. Forever in our hearts, Dad/Son/ Brother/Uncle Joe! Lauren, Johann, Mom Mary Ellen, Ronnie, Stacy, Terry, Tom, Vince, and Celeste; a big crew of beloved in-laws and nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and dear cousins; and countless friends along his winding road. Predeceased by Big Joe and Jon T. (Sorry about the dog, Mrs. Mountain!) We hope to hold a celebration for Joe in May—email EverythingisSpine@gmail.com for more information. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Joe’s name to your local clubhouse: aa.org.
