John A. Dougherty

John Adrian Dougherty – known to his family and friends as Doc – died on October 28 at the age of 78 in Erdenheim, PA. He was the son of Joseph F. Dougherty, MD and Margaret Straith-Miller. His brothers, Joseph and Dennis, predeceased him.

Known for his out-going personality and great sense of humor, the Malvern Prep and Wyndham College graduate spent most of his professional career in the hospitality business. John was also active in his community and very involved with his Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Andy) Keeley Dougherty, his son, Philip A. Dougherty, and his grandson, Beckett Marshall Dougherty and a close extended family.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00AM in Church.

Memorials may be made in John’s name to St. Genevieve Church or Malvern Preparatory School, 418 Warren Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355.
