Joan Salvatore

Joan Salvatore (nee Horton), of Oreland, on August 9, 2022. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Joseph N. Salvatore, Jr. Loving mother of Janine Ford (Wayne), Jacqueline DeLaurentis (Michael), and Joseph Salvatore (Jesse Frechette). Proud grandmother of Alexis (Joseph Ferrara), Christa Joan (Jeffrey Ellsesser), Tyler (Cortney), Ryan (Ali), Michael (Kimberly), and Jason. She is also surivived by her wonderful great grandchildren Gianna, Luke, Simon, Oliver, Roman, and Grayson. Daughter of the late Jean Pateski Horton and sister of her deeply missed brother Harold A. Horton, Jr. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11AM at Holy Martyrs Church 120 Allison Rd Oreland, PA 19075. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 9:30-11AM at the church. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Oncology Dept. 3401 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104.
