Grace (R. Hege) Martynenko On June 24th 2019, age 96, of Mullica Hill, NJ, formerly of Flourtown, PA, Grace Martynenko passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held Thursday June 27, 2019 at 12PM at John F. Murray Funeral Home 1220 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Burial Service to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Philadelphia. Grace was born on April 1st, 1923, daughter of the late John Calvin & Rhoda Ellen Hege (nee Shoemaker), Mercersburg, PA. She went on to accomplish her college degree at Philadelphia Bible of College to then work with the Commonwealth of PA for 25 years. Grace married her late husband Nickolai Kuzma Martynenko, on June 5th 1954. They went on to raise their 2 sons Timothy Nickolai (Janet) and Stephen Andrew (Carla). Once she retired, she spent time with her grandchildren, travelling, gardening and crocheting. In the last 15 years she has enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and cherished great grandchildren. Grace is also survived by her brother, George Hege, Sr, and now joins her late brother and sisters Mildred, Mary, Helen, John Calvin Jr., Ray, Harry and Sam. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Grace’s memory to Cairn University (formerly known as Philadelphia Bible of College), 200 Manor Ave, Langhorne, PA 19047.
