George H. Maugle

George H. Maugle, on Dec. 17, 2017. Of Flourtown, formerly of East Falls.  Beloved husband of the late Theresa (nee McManus).  Loving father of Sr. Theresa Maugle SSJ, George (Elizabeth), Kathleen Magee (Ronald), Bernard (Mary Ann) and Frederick (Joann).  Devoted grandfather of 6.  He was a WWII Veteran serving aboard the USS Whiteside “A.K.A. 90” in the Pacific Theater.  George was a police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department from 1955-1982.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Villa 110 W. Wissahickon Ave Flourtown, PA 19031.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 9-10:30AM at the Villa.  Interment Westminster Cem.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph Villa at the above address.
