Elizabeth "Betty" McNamara

Elizabeth "Betty" McNamara, age 90, formerly of Erdenheim, passed peacefully on January 27th, 2023 at the Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler. Betty was a loving wife to the late Owen J. "Mac" McNamara. She was a devoted mother to Patti, Michael, Charlie, Jimmy, Betsy, Ricky and O.J. Betty was delighted to welcome into the family Herb, Gail, Sue, Debbie, Joe, and Donna. Betty was especially proud of her grandchildren: Kimberly (Brooks), Kevin (Tim), Kristopher, T.J. (Kristen), Toby, Glenn ( April), Melissa (Peter), Shannon, Tierney (Scott), Nicole (Kyle), Alexandria (Brendon), Joey, Jamie (Alyssa), Ricky and Sophia. Betty's great grandchildren include Elliot Jennifer, Moise, Marcelus, Lena, Axel, Declan, Cadence, Brayden, Lilah, Riley, Aubrey, Lainey and one on the way. Betty was so proud of her nursing career and even reminisced about it a few months ago. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday February 2nd, 2023 10am at St. Genevieve Church 1225 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, Pa 19031. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 9-10am at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
