Elizabeth M. Bonnie

Elizabeth M. Bonnie, age 104 of Philadelphia, died peacefully at home on July 3, surrounded by loving family and friends. Beloved wife of Alexander, Betty, who attended Simon Gratz H.S and Pierce Junior College, was a legal secretary, bookkeeper, preschool teacher and church and community volunteer.  She was cherished as a powerful life force, adviser to many and a mother to all. She is survived by brother Newton, his wife Beverly, son Stephen, daughter Janet, son in law Robert, grandchildren Alexis and Philip and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held at Grace Epiphany Church, 224 East Gowen Ave. Philadelphia 19119. Visitation at 10:00 followed by the service at 11:00. Interment is at Hillside Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, we request donation to the National Veterans Foundation nfv.org, or to the charity of your choice in Elizabeth's name.
