Eileen S. Brogan

Eileen S.(nee Nagy) Brogan, 81, passed away on January 17 after a long battle with chronic illness. She was surrounded by her four children at the time she passed.

Eileen was born on May 17, 1942 to Alexander and Elizabeth Nagy, in Philadelphia.

Eileen graduated from Frankford High School and then pursued and an administrative career in the legal and medical fields.

An unwavering devotion to raising her children was the focus of Eileen’s life. She will also be remembered by those closest to her for commitment to animal welfare.

Eileen was at her best with her family around her, celebrating life and watching old movies. She experienced her most joyful and serene moments on the beach, sharing her favorite place of tranquility with loved ones. We will always think of her there.

Eileen was predeceased by husband John Brogan. She is survived by her children, James Smith, Patrick Smith, Christopher Smith, Judith McConnell (Bruce), John Brogan Jr. (Suzanne), Robert Brogan, Steve Brogan (Patricia), & Kelly Drew (Scott) , and her grandchildren, Tom, Justis, Melissa, Danielle, Nicole, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Jake, Luke and Brett.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday January 25, 2023 at 10:30AM at Holy Martyrs Church 120 Allison Rd Oreland, PA 19075.  Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 9:30-10:30AM at the church.  Interment will be private.
