Edward V. Carr, Sr.

Edward Vincent Carr Sr., age 91, of Oreland, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on August 16th, 2021. Born on November 27th, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, Ed was the son of Michael and Catherine Carr, brother to Reverend Michael Carr C.S.Sp, Lawrence Carr, Ceil Carr, and Terrance Carr. Ed lived on Garnet Street and graduated from Roman Catholic High School in 1947. Ed was married to his beloved bride of 62 years Dorothy Carr (Smith). Together they were blessed with six children Ed Jr, Michael (deceased), Stephen, Dennis, Gerry (deceased), and Missy Dudas (Carr), ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild on the way. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing Sunday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 at Holy Martyrs Church in Oreland, PA, and viewing 9:30 – 10:30 and Funeral Mass on Monday August 23rd at 10:30 at Holy Martyrs Church 120 Allison Rd.
