Doris M Shortridge

Doris M. Shortridge (nee Gourley), of Oreland, PA passed away on September 7, 2018 while surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Shortridge Jr.  Loving mother of Lynn Boudwin (Arthur), Charles E. Shortridge III (Patti), and Jeffery L. Shortridge (Carol).  Devoted grandmother of Heather, Courtney, Charles IV, Ryan, Nicole, Samantha, Caitlin and the late Dustin.  Great grandmother of 7.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law Lee and her sister-in-law Bea.  Doris worked for many years for Wanamakers and also worked for the School District of Springfield Township.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 15, 2018 at 10AM at Christ Lutheran Church 700 Pennsylvania Ave Oreland, PA 19075.  Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:30-10AM at the church.  Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Caring Hospice 400 Commerce Drive Suite C Fort Washington, PA 19034.
