David H. Murray

David H. Murray passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born on February 11, 1958, to his parents, the late Thomas Murray and Catherine (Carney) Murray. David is now reunited with them and his late brother, Paul and sister, Coleen. He is survived by his brother Michael (Joyce), sister Kathleen, and many nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

David's life was marked by courage and resilience as he battled a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy that confined him to a wheelchair as an adult. Despite the challenges he faced, he continued to inspire those around him with his unwavering spirit.

Before his diagnosis, David cherished the simple joys in life, including his love for the Philadelphia Eagles, Ocean City, New Jersey and his passion for photography. David honed his skills at the Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography, leaving behind a legacy of visual artistry that will be cherished for generations.

David will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving brother, uncle, and friend to many. He had a great sense of humor that could light up any room and bring smiles to the faces of all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:30 am on Friday, November 10 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, followed by a luncheon to celebrate David's life.  Please plan to arrive at the cemetery by 11:15AM by entering through the main entrance on Cheltenham Ave for the procession to the graveside.
