Caroline Shea Kyle unexpectedly passed away in her sleep at home on July 9th, 2022. She is survived by her loving parents Beth and Robert Kyle; her favorite siblings Rory and Grace; grandmother Jody Kyle; aunts and uncles: Debbie & Brian O’Shea, Brigid & Mark Zinkand, Diane & Tommy Doyle, Kevin & Marta Kyle and many adored cousins. Her family is uplifted to know that she is with her grandparents Mom Mom, Pop Pop and Bobboo. Caroline was born August 28, 2002 in Oreland, PA. She attended Norwood Fontbonne Academy grade school and was a 2021 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph’s Academy. At the Mount, she was an avid rower with three varsity letters. Her Lightweight 8 boat was the 2019 Stotesbury Regatta champion as well as the 2019 Youth National champion. She was a rising sophomore at the College of Charleston. Beyond her academic and athletic achievements, family and friends were everything to Caroline - most especially her brother Rory and her sister Grace. She cherished her time with family and friends, particularly many memorable times in Avalon, NJ. The beach held a special place in Caroline’s heart and she loved to surf in Avalon as well as in Folly Beach, South Carolina. She was blessed with a fantastic group of friends, who loved her kindness and admired her positive spirit. Though heartbroken, her parents, Rory and Grace are grateful for the joy Caroline brought them and the wonderful family meal they shared together the evening before her passing. Caroline was a ray of sunshine to all she met and heaven is a brighter place with her there. Realtives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6-8PM at Epiphany of Our Lord Church 3050 Walton Rd Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10AM at the church. There is no morning viewing on Friday. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount St. Joseph Academy Crew, in honor of Caroline Kyle, 120 W. Wissahickon Ave Flourtown, PA 19031.
