Arthur J. Ambolino

Arthur Joseph Ambolino, 94, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Mary Ann Ambolino (Matteo). Art is the father of Three daughters, Judy (Raymond), Joan and Jeanette (Steven). He leaves behind six grandchildren, Shawn (Jessica), Rebecca (Jim) Lindsay, Ryan, Jacquelyn (Darren) and Mary Grace and five great grandchildren, Emma, James, Alexander, Sophia, and Aiden. He was an Army Veteran who served his country at a young age and later became an award-winning offset printer for Cuneo Eastern Press and Braceland Brothers located in Philadelphia PA. After retirement, he headed up his own fruit/vegetable delivery business and served many area restaurants and hotels. Art was an avid golfer who loved to play the game solo, with the exception of an occasional caddy. His kindness, strength and spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He was a true servant of God and was always willing to help his family and friends. Although a small man in stature his heart was as BIG as big could be and he found much joy in taking care of his family. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church Allison and Ulmer Rds Oreland, PA 19075 on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10:30AM. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 at the church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Holy Martyrs Parish in Arts name. Arrangements will be handled by John F. Murray Funeral Home, Flourtown, PA.
