Ann Rosaire Lyons, of Chalfont PA, passed away gracefully at home on July 28th, 2022. She was 72 years old. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 47 years Timothy Lyons, their three children Tim Lyons, Kevin Lyons, Courtney (Joe) Elgindy, family and friends. Annie, Auntie-Ann and most proudly Nannie to Alexander and Nora Elgindy and Bridget Lyons, Ann was no stranger to being surrounded by people. She was the oldest daughter of the ten children born to Francis and Eileen Nelling. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Fran (Josie) Nelling and Pat (Bobbi) Nelling. She is survived by her brothers Michael Nelling, Mark (Terri) Nelling, John (Dawn) Nelling and sisters Peggy (Dominic) Castaldi, Donna (Bill) Lang, Eileen (Bob) Smith and Barb (Pat) McNamara and many nieces and nephews. Ann's life work as a Nurse also kept her surrounded by people, often times caring for some of the sickest as she served the HIV and AIDS population in Philadelphia in the 1980's. Later she took on the service role of Hospice nurse. Her final professional years were spent at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia as a Clinical liaison for a home infusion company. Always eager to travel, taste new delicacies, dive into a novel, or tackle the most complex quilt pattern, Annie truly enjoyed life. She was grateful for each new day and every breath having been the fortunate recipient of a lung transplant in 2019. Though graceful and quiet, Ann faced any challenge with a strong and resilient spirit. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Jude’s Church 321 W. Butler Ave Chalfont, Pa on August 27, 2022 at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 10-11AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cathy Miller Foundation https://cathymillercancerfund.org/
