Ann C. Coyle

Ann C. Coyle (nee Fisher) of Flourtown, PA passed away peacefully at Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill on May 28, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Coyle.  Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA on

March 27, 1939 to the late J. Forrest and Ann C Fisher (nee Burns).  She was raised in Philadelphia in the Corpus Christi Parish and graduated from St. Boniface Business School. She went to work at Superior Life Insurance Company, where she met her future husband, Joe.  They were married on November 24, 1962 and were blessed with 56 years of wedded bliss. They raised their family in Northeast Philadelphia in Resurrection Parish. 


Ann was a devoted mother who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally.  She was the ultimate confidant, always willing to listen and comfort.  She formed many friendships with the residents at Masonic Village and especially with the staff – their beloved Miss Ann.


She was the loving mother of Joanne Challman (Mike), Mary Posluszny (Paul), Joseph Jr. (Lisa), Michael (Jennifer) and the late Danny. She was also the proud grandmother of Kevin (Nicole), Anita, Anna, Lauren, Colin, Grace, Jessica, Danny and her bonus grandchildren Ryan, Rachel (Forrest) and James.  Also, a doting great grandmother to Hunter, Lily, and Callan.   She was predeceased by her brothers Joe and Jack Fisher and her sister Carol Connor, who passed away on the same day eight years ago.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held at St. Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown on Tuesday, June 4 from 9 AM – 10 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ann Coyle to the Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill, 801 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA  19444.
