Franklin C. Durchsprung

Franklin C. Durchsprung, age 82, of Oreland, PA passed away Monday January 11, 2016. Franklin was born on April 3, 1933 in Philadelphia. Son of Harry and Stella Durchsprung formerly of Flourtown, graduate of the Class of '52 Springfield High School(Montco) and carpenter by trade for B.F. Gotwals and McNeil Consumer Products. He is survived by his wife Doris(nee Lewis) Durchsprung, their children David Durchsprung and Debra Norman, their respective spouses, and their 6 grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his sister Ruth Grove. He was predeceased by his daughter Diane Nice, his sister Alice Barella, and his brothers Thomas, Harry and Herbert Durchsprung. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the John F. Murray Funeral Home 1220 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to The Parkinson Council 111 Presidential Blvd., Suite 141 Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or to the charity of your choice.
