William J. Witaconis

William J. Witaconis, of Oreland, PA, age 70, on September 29, 2012. Beloved husband of Kathryn A(nee Dickson). Loving father of Eileen Greenlay(Peter), Wendy Koons(Christopher) and Laurie Shawaluk(Paul). Cherished Pop-Pop of Cassidy, Hailey and Max Koons and Kyle and Liam Shawaluk. Son of the late William C. and Antoinette(nee Shelalis) Witaconis. Brother of Barbara Tornow(Larry), Marion Perron(Dave), Charles, and Edward(Mary Lee); also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30AM at Holy Martyrs Church, Allison Rd and Ulmer Ave, Oreland, PA followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in William's memory may be sent to Scranton Preparatory Scholarship Fund, 1000 Wyoming Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
