Loving father of Susan Cooney(James), and Beth Ann Cooney(the late Kevin). Devoted grandfather of T.J., Jason and Casey Cooney, and Megan Hunsberger(Chris). Great grandfather of Lily Kathleen. Brother of Joan McMenamin. He was a member of St. Joe Prep Class of 1945. He was a retired CLU at NY Life and an employee of the County of Montgomery. Bob was an active member of Holy Martyrs Church, the Glenside Old Timers, the Flourtown ROMEO’s, Oreland Lions and Men of Malvern. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11AM at Holy Martyrs Church Allison Rd and Ulmer Ave Oreland, PA 19075. Relatives and friends may call from 9:30-11AM at the church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to either the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509 New York, NY 10018 or to Holy Martyrs Church at the above address
